About “Senshoryu”

・Senshoryu was founded in 1972 by Yasuya Sensho in Kameoka, Kyoto.
・In 2003, an announcement of succession was made at Kyoto MINAMIZA. Yasu, the vice head (iemoto) of Senshoryu, formerly succeeded Yasuya of the 2nd generation,

and Yasutomoya succeeded the 3rd generation.

Yasuya and Yasutomoya open their lesson room respectively in Tokyo and in Kyoto (headquarters). Not only traditional BUYO, but modern style of BUYO is taught at each lesson. Yasutomoya gives a show at Kyoto Miyagawa-cho KABURENJO once every three years.
